What is the most precious item in your life? The one thing that you cannot do without. The thing in life you value the most. This question does leave some room for interpretation. There is no wrong interpretation. Please answer with what pops into your head first. Please do not over think it!
The most precious thing in my life would probably be my ability to dance. I have been dancing for 10 years, and it is my life. This year I am going to be in 5 dances; 3 with my class, 1 with all the 10 year students, and the other dance is a solo. I don’t know what I would do if i couldn’t dance. Like what would take the places of dance?
1. The best thing about living here, is that we have 4 seasons. Winter, when the ground is covered in snow. Spring, when the flowers start to come up. Summer, when it is hot out, and we don’t have school. And fall, when the leaves change colors and they fall from the tree.
2. Our school is unique beacuse we have so many different people in it. And every teacher teachs in a different way. At our school, some teachers just stand at the board, and talk and write and expect us to copy it all down and understand it. And some teachers, actually explain things and make learning fun!
I think we should use technology and I think it is important. It makes learner faster. Instead of looking up something in a book, all you have to do it go onto the computer and search what you need. And it is something different. Back then people had to use pen and paper, but now that we have technology we don’t need paper and pen anymore. Also, using technology is a lot easier to contact someone. Instead of mailing a letter, you can easily call them or e-mail them. I really don’t know who is listening or reading this, but I think everyone should be, because technology is very important and we use it in our everyday life.
Ok so we get to start high school in like 6-7 months. And we are goning to be freshmen. I can’t wait but at the same time I’m a little nervous. Its a bigger school and harder work. So more homework. And since its a bigger school I hope I don’t get lost. I don’t think I will because my cousin said she’d show me where to go. But still. But the thing that worries me the most is grades. I heard that the work is a lot harder and I probably heard correct. And I know my parents are going to want me to keep my grades up, so I’m going to have to study a lot and pay attention. But other than that I am really excited.
This video to means to me, that everyone, no matter how old or young you are, you are loved by someone else. And if you are loved by someonr you will feel as if you are the luckiest person in the world.
The person that has influenced me then most in life would probally have to be my Grandma Pat. She has influenced me the most in my life because she had battled cancer for a couple years. She was always strong about it and she has never let her cancer affect what she wants to do. If you ever saw her walking down the street, you wouldn’t even know that she had cancer because she always so happy and always smiling. She always fought hard and kept trying to find treatments for her cancer. She never found a treatment though, because she pasted away on July 26, 2007, but she kept fighting until the last day. And that has taught me to aways try my hardest and do my best, because you never know what will happen. And also to always have fun, to not take what you have for granted, and that life is short.
I was thinking about this the other day. And I’ve been trying to figure this out but I just can’t. So if you figure it out please comment me and let me know.
I wonder… why is the abbreviation for christmas xmas? I mean there is NO “x” in christmas. It would be different if it was cmas, but no it has to be xmas… WHY???
There is a difference between James Vumbaco and Mayor Dickenson opion. The mayor thought that schools should keep using pencil and paper and James Vumbaco said that the tecnology and what we are doing is a good thing.
I think that his opinion is very good. I actually prefer his opinion over the mayors because by using the internet, it gives us, and other students a chance to colaborate with students from other places in the world and we could learn things from that place that are happening today. we cant always rely on a book for modern information.. The people who live in that place in this day know the most about whats happening there.. books arent updated day to day. so that is what i thought was good and its something that i agreed with.
